Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular anime recently. My AMV edit serves as a visual plot recap mainly focusing on its chapters of “Junpei’s Stories”, the darkest ones in all chapters in my opinion, which features the victim of school bullying who also becomes an abuser later, fails to escape from his karma and fate unfortunately.
In this AMV, I wanted to focus on the different emotions and atmosphere contained in the same lyrics, and the contradictory absurdity of the contrast between the warm and beautiful memories of the characters and the cold and painful reality.
From my perspective, no matter if the characters are protagonists or antagonists in the story, they all keep struggling and moving back and forth between the bright and dark sides of human nature and desire. I wanted to explore and express my understanding of life and death, the soul and humanity, as well as the paradoxical definition of justice by this edit.

Concept
This is a music fan-video I created for one of my favorite anime, Mob Psycho 100, which depicts the inner world of two main characters known as Reigen and Mob (Shigeo) so well that touched me deeply.
The vulnerability and loneliness of both of them, their mentorship, and how they somehow become the saviors for each other during the darkest moments in life really lead me to the crave of their platonic soulmate relationship and also this project for them.
