Overview

As a graphic design intern at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) from the beginning of February till the end of August, I assisted Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Creative Center design team in researching, brainstorming and executing deliverables including moodboards, styleframes, title cards animation, logo development, posters, sales decks, promotional social graphics for various new and on-going projects for on-time production and delivery. I had the honor to work with our main clients including HBO, ABC, NBC, Hulu, Net ix, Quibi, Pop TV, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, Showtime, and Spectrum.

What I’ve Leant

As I keep learning through my first internship in the entire life so far, I would say it was a unique and unforgettable experience to switch the workspace from office to our home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and I’m glad that we made it to overcome the obstacles of staying connected and keeping posted with the team actively.
Throughout the whole process, I always feel passionate with every project I’d worked on with gratitude for this opportunity to acquire valuable feedback and recognition from the team, and get more familiar with how the real industry world looks like. These valuable inputs and energy really have helped me figure out what kind of designer do I strive to be after graduation.
